Castle of the Vampire Lord includes modular features, allowing players to customize rooms with removable doors, walls, and arches. Each floor is divided into sections for FDM printing, utilizing Openlock clips for stability and easy disassembly. LED lighting options have also been integrated, providing backers with accessible, re-usable LED solutions for lighting effects, adding atmosphere to the castle.

As part of Axolote Gaming’s campaign, stretch goals are unlocked every $1.5k, adding new elements such as props, creatures, and room furnishings, with additional rewards when a full floor is unlocked. Backers pledging at higher tiers, including the “Lord of the Castle” level, gain access to cross-promotion packs featuring models from collaborating creators. File distribution will occur through MyMiniFactory, allowing flexible access and download options for backers.

The Castle of the Vampire Lord campaign has gathered strong support, with $13,447 pledged of its $2,491 goal and 161 backers. With 15 days remaining, the campaign will run until November 15.

The Prism color engine brings polyjet 3D printing technology to Eldritch Foundry’s platform, enabling users to apply intricate color schemes and effects to their miniatures. This new feature mimics traditional painting techniques such as drybrushing, wet-blending, washes, and shading, all within a digital environment.

The Kickstarter will also raise funds for expanding Eldritch Foundry’s character creator, including adding new textures, brush styles, and more advanced painting techniques. The new tool will offer a broad range of colors and fine-tuned customization options for details like eyes and shaded areas.

The Kickstarter campaign goes live on October 29 at 8 a.m. Eastern time. Backer who pledge until November 5 will get a free set of Zombies, including over 40 STL files.

The campaign will feature a massive ship centerpiece along with four core sets, including the Tavern, Bazaar, Port, and Ship Crew. Additionally, the campaign will introduce a new hardcover 5E supplement, which will be available alongside the miniatures and terrain sets.

Archon Studio will be using their high-quality HIPS plastic, produced in their in-house factory in Poland. The use of their advanced plastic injection technology promises durability and detail in each piece.

Backers who follow the campaign prior to launch will receive a free Macawin miniature. Pledges and more details will be available when the campaign opens in March 2025.

Unlike traditional fantasy themes focused on warriors and monsters, this range also highlights the more mundane inhabitants, such as NPCs and civilians, adding depth to tabletop settings. The Witch Scourgers are portrayed as an elite force sent to uncover the mysteries behind the fall of a city, using their strategic skills to root out evil.

Backers of this campaign can choose between digital STL files for 3D printing or resin models, with 12 starting warband models included. As the campaign progresses, additional stretch goals will unlock more models. Optional add-ons offer backers the chance to expand their warband further.

The Kickstarter campaign is currently live, with $14,026 pledged of its $2,722 goal. The project has attracted 264 backers, and the campaign will run until October 25.

Chris shared that Dungeons Reforged is designed to address some key challenges that the company has faced in recent years. “For years, we were running off of a Kickstarter-based model where we were just focused on getting from campaign to campaign,” he explained. “The way the sets were laid out was optimized around the Kickstarter pledge structure, which meant that at the end of the day we had a lot of sets and pieces that were difficult to restock, or didn’t make a ton of sense to new customers trying to get started on our webstore.”

With Dungeons Reforged, Dwarven Forge has reorganized their offerings to make it easier for new collectors to dive into the hobby while also appealing to long-time fans. “We’ve made new ‘core sets’ that let new customers get a ton of table coverage affordably,” Chris noted. There are also new dressing packs and some long-awaited pieces that have been out of stock for years, like the Bladed Ziggurat and Acid Furnace.

One of the standout features of the campaign is the introduction of the “Sinister” paint scheme. This darker, more eerie color palette brings a completely different atmosphere to Dwarven Forge’s dungeon terrain, perfect for constructing necrotic or corrupted environments. “The Sinister paint scheme is also jaw-dropping on the table and gives a Shadowfell Keep or Necromancer’s lair feel.” Chris added.

For existing Dwarven Forge fans, Dungeons Reforged offers a chance to fill in some gaps in their collections, with new pieces like the trapdoor insert or corner pillar. These additions enhance the functionality of the sets, allowing for more dynamic and varied dungeon builds. The campaign also offers the opportunity for backers to provide feedback and influence the final product before orders are placed.

When asked about the inspiration behind the reworked dungeon terrain, Chris pointed to the timeless appeal of classic dungeon crawls. “The dungeon is the classic fantasy adventure setting,” he said. “We were heavily focused on making modular, interactive pieces that would bring all of the classic dungeon-crawling tropes to life. Now that we’ve played with these pieces for over half a decade, we’ve had ideas on how to execute on the classic dungeon trappings even better.”

Looking ahead, Dwarven Forge has plenty more in store for fans. With their Lowtown city-building Kickstarter nearing fulfillment and the Starforged Sci-Fi campaign on the horizon, the company is gearing up for an exciting few years. “We’re planning to share details on our next campaigns before the end of the year, after Dungeons Reforged launches,” Chris hinted.

The first set, titled Adventures from Baldur’s Gate, is a booster pack that contains 40 miniatures, including a variety of monsters and characters from Baldur’s Gate 3. Each booster pack includes one large miniature and three medium or small miniatures. Some of the creatures in this set are specific to the video game, such as the Slayer of Bhaal and the Necromite of Myrkul, along with more familiar creatures like goblins and githyanki.

The second product is a Baldur’s Gate 3 – Characters boxed set, featuring pre-painted miniatures of several key characters from the game. Included in the set are Astarion, Karlach, Gale, Shadowheart, Wyll, Lae’zel, and Withers. The set will retail for $49.99, and while it includes many fan-favorite characters, it does not feature the Dark Urge or Tav.

The Adventures from Baldur’s Gate miniatures will be available in single boosters for $24.99, as well as Booster Bricks, which contain eight booster packs, for $199.92. Both sets are now available for pre-order on the WizKids website, with the official release expected in February 2025.

Backers can select between two color schemes—Cold Gray and Desert Tomb—and can also download a free print-and-play version of the set in different colors. The design is focused on portability and flexibility, allowing game masters to quickly set up and build dungeons of varying sizes and layouts. The set has been praised by previous backers for its quality and ease of use in tabletop RPG sessions.

This is Ilya’s fourth crowdfunding campaign and the first to be hosted on Gamefound after a successful Kickstarter last year.

The Mad Wizard’s Hall campaign reached its goal in just 4 hours and 57 minutes, surpassing its target of $1,338. It has raised $3,188 from 17 backers, with 17 days remaining. Only 70 sets are available in this limited-run campaign, so those interested are encouraged to pledge before it closes. More details are available on the Gamefound page.

Zetan Invaders

The Zetan Invaders from Beyond pack introduces 3 Zetan Troopers, 1 Zetan Inquisitor, and 1 Zetan Drone. This new addition brings an extraterrestrial element to the game with highly detailed miniatures. The Zetan Alien Invaders set also includes two resin miniatures featuring advanced armor.

Legends of Vault 76

The Legends of Vault 76 box set introduces three new characters shaped by life inside Vault 76. The set includes a Raid Leader, a Wasteland Drifter, and a Sneaky Survivor.

Free Rules Packet: “Invasion!”

To complement the new releases, Modiphius has made a free PDF rules packet available for download. The Fallout: Miniatures – Invasion! rules packet includes new content for both the Zetans and the Legends of Vault 76, along with a new solo-play scenario titled Invasion!. In this scenario, Cryptid Hunters are tasked with confronting alien invaders near Zetan Emitters in the Ash Flats.

October Brings Cryptids: Wendigo Pack

October will see the release of the Cryptids: Wendigo Pack, adding a touch of horror to the game. This pack includes three 32mm miniatures of the legendary Wendigos, priced at £30 / $35. Additionally, players can expand their collection with the Wendigo Colossus, a towering figure standing on a 60mm base, available for £80 / $95.

November Preview: Super Mutant Floaters

Looking ahead to November, Modiphius will introduce the Super Mutant Floaters. These creatures, products of the Forced Evolutionary Virus, will be available in October for £30 / $37.

Shadowcurse introduces a new 5e-compatible adventure, “Of Pawns and Pieces,” created in collaboration with Black Lantern Studio. The campaign is set in the cursed land of Czessic, where players will encounter dark forces and confront choices that shape the story’s outcome. The module includes a narrative with branching paths, new creatures, spells, and magical items, as well as multiple battlemaps.

In addition to the adventure, the Kickstarter will feature a new collection of 36 3D printable miniatures, including heroes, villains, and monsters. The project also offers over 50 scatter terrain pieces representing various cursed locations.

The campaign will officially launch on October 15th, with further details and free sample models available on the prelaunch page.

The new miniature line features over 80 character miniatures and six vehicles, all based on artwork from the latest edition of Traveller. This collection includes factions such as the Zhodani, the Imperial Marines, and the Flashpoint Travellers, offering a diverse range of figures for both ground invasions and boarding operations. The miniatures are available as 3D-printable STL files or ready-to-paint physical versions, allowing backers to choose their preferred format.

The campaign focuses on delivering high-quality 28mm-scale miniatures, with detailed figures of the Zhodani infantry, Imperial Marines, and the heroic Flashpoint Travellers. Each faction includes a variety of poses, from action stances to seated and zero-gravity variants. Additionally, the campaign introduces detailed vehicles like the Imperial Vaastel-M Battle Tank and the Zhodani Vezhchiezh Gravitic Combat Platform, designed for optimized 3D printing.

2nd Dynasty’s previous campaigns have been praised for the quality of their 3D-printed products, and this one is no exception. The physical miniatures and vehicles will be printed with precision using high-quality resin and filament, ensuring that even the smallest details are captured.

With 20 days remaining, the Kickstarter campaign has raised $22,570 of its $33,378 goal, with 171 backers supporting the project. The campaign is set to end on October 9, 2024.
