Emperor’s Children Army Set: Champions of Slaanesh

The Emperor’s Children Army Set introduces 33 new miniatures, showcasing the legion’s distinctive aesthetic and themes of excess. The set includes a Lord Exultant, a central character with customizable options such as a phoenix power spear, rapture lash, and various power packs and head designs.

Accompanying the Lord Exultant are two units of six Noise Marines, each capable of including a Disharmonist. The Noise Marines feature a variety of heads, shoulders, and muzzles for their sonic blasters, allowing for extensive customization. Additionally, the set includes 20 Space Marines that can be built as either Tormentors (focused on ranged combat) or Infractors (specializing in close combat), with a selection of accessories to personalize each model.

The set also includes a 112-page Codex: Emperor’s Children, which provides lore, artwork, and rules for using the Emperor’s Children in tabletop gameplay. The Codex features a pink foil cover, gilded page edges, and a black ribbon bookmark. Completing the set are 22 datasheet cards for the units included in the Codex and a transfer sheet with 150 transfers for decorating miniatures. This Army Set will be available for a limited time, while supplies last.

Combat Patrol: Aeldari

For players interested in the Aeldari faction, the Combat Patrol: Aeldari set offers a balanced force for tabletop battles. The box includes a Spiritseer, five Wraithblades, five Warp Spiders, and 10 Dire Avengers.

Lucius: The Faultless Blade – Special Edition Novel

Black Library is releasing a special edition of Lucius: The Faultless Blade, a novel by Ian St. Martin that explores the story of Lucius the Eternal, a champion of Fulgrim. The novel follows Lucius as he attempts to rebuild his forces amidst ongoing conflict. This special edition includes a signed copy by the author, a screen-printed cover, a silver ribbon bookmark, and the short story Lucius: Pride and Fall. Like the Emperor’s Children Army Set, this edition will be available while stocks last.

Death Korps of Krieg Army Set

The Death Korps of Krieg Army Set introduces 18 new plastic miniatures, including Lord Marshal Dreir mounted on his Krieg steed, 10 Death Riders, an Artillery Team, and a unit of Combat Engineers equipped with a remote mine. The set also includes the first release of the Codex: Astra Militarum, a 168-page book detailing background and rules for the Astra Militarum in Warhammer 40,000. Supporting materials include 68 cards featuring army rules and datasheets, as well as a transfer sheet with over 800 decals.

Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game Additions

New and returning miniatures arrive for the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game, with several kits inspired by The War of the Rohirrim™:

• Haleth™ & Háma™, Princes of Rohan™: This kit includes mounted and unmounted options for both characters, with interchangeable head options.
• Héra™, The Bride of Death: A Forge World resin miniature with two shield options, reflecting her key role in Rohan’s history.
• Wulf™ & General Targg™: Leaders of the Hill Tribes, these miniatures include mounted and unmounted variants.
• Shank & Wrot, Orc Scavengers: These orcs, accompanied by a Snow Troll, add thematic variety to Mordor armies.

Returning miniatures include key characters like Bard the Bowman, Galadriel, and Thranduil, alongside large-scale models such as the Watcher in the Water. Terrain kits like the Rohan Stronghold offer options for recreating iconic Middle-earth settings.

Black Library Releases

Black Library highlights this week include:

• Leontus: Lord Solar: A new novel following the commander of the Segmentum Solar as he faces Ork forces in a dire conflict.
• Soldiers of the Imperium: An omnibus containing novels like Death World and Kasrkin, alongside several short stories.
• Renegades: Lord of Excess: A story focused on an Emperor’s Children warlord, now available in paperback.
• Requiem Infernal: A tale of the Adepta Sororitas confronting external and internal threats.
• The Imperial Infantryman’s Handbook: A re-release containing guidelines and regulations for Astra Militarum soldiers.

French and German releases include Dead Men Walking by Steve Lyons and Broken Crusade by Steven B Fischer, as well as translations of titles from the Horus Heresy series.

Alongside the new expansion, a variety of standalone releases further enrich the Kill Team experience. Fans can expect the return of popular factions, each accompanied by faction-specific rules and tokens, alongside dynamic terrain options for urban battles.

For those invested in larger-scale conflicts, the latest updates to Legions Imperialis introduce powerful Dark Mechanicum constructs and new terrain pieces.

The release lineup includes several other items of interest. The Da Red Gobbo’s A-bomb-inable Snowman offers a Christmas-themed miniature with Da Red Gobbo and his Snotling companion building a snowman atop an explosive. This limited miniature will be available while supplies last.

For Legiones Astartes collectors, the Melee Weapons Upgrade Set introduces a range of melee weapons suitable for MKVI and MKIII models, with options like chainswords and thunder hammers. Also releasing for the Horus Heresy, the Blast Markers and Templates kit provides accessory markers to represent large-scale weaponry effects.

The upcoming White Dwarf issue in November will feature multiplayer rules for Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Legends updates, painting breakdowns, and scenario cards. The issue will also include a code to unlock Isabella Mariken in Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus.

Black Library is also introducing new material, including The High Kâhl’s Oath by Gav Thorpe, the first Black Library novel focused on the Leagues of Votann, available in a limited special edition. Additionally, Long Live Da Red Gobbo by Justin Woolley and the Da Red Gobbo Collection bring together stories of Grot resistance against Ork rule. Both will be offered in hardback and audiobook formats.

In anticipation of the Embergard release, the Warhammer Community team is organizing a league to showcase the new warbands and decks. Loremasters will also feature additional content focused on the T’au Empire. The new edition of Warhammer Underworlds is expected to bring notable changes to the game’s structure and gameplay experience.

The Kill Team: Starter Set includes two kill teams—Angels of Death and Plague Marines—each with seven detailed push-fit operatives. The set also offers full-color MDF terrain, a 64-page handbook covering gameplay and background lore, a double-sided game board, tokens, and range rulers, making it suited for players looking to dive into the latest edition of Kill Team.

Additional pre-orders feature individual kill teams with unique designs and accessories. These include the Kasrkin team from Astra Militarum, Phobos Strike Team Space Marines, Chaos Space Marine Legionaries, and T’au Empire Pathfinders. Each kill team set includes customized tokens and miniature decals, with optional datacards available to streamline gameplay. New standalone miniatures include the Chaos Lord, a Chaos Lord with Jump Pack, and Inquisitor Torquemada Coteaz, each adding distinct thematic elements to the battlefield.

Alongside, Black Library releases include Broken Crusade by Steven B Fischer, available in multiple formats including a special edition. Da Big Dakka by Mike Brooks joins the lineup in paperback, along with the Warhammer 40,000 Horror Collection Volumes One and Two, both available in audiobook format.

Kill Team: Starter Set

The new Kill Team Starter Set provides an introduction to the latest edition of the game. It includes miniatures from both the Angels of Death and Plague Marines factions, as well as a game board, terrain pieces, tokens, and other components. This set is designed to offer players the materials they need to begin engaging in small-scale tactical battles.

New Kill Teams and Datacards

Alongside the starter set, several new kill teams are being released. These include the Kasrkin, Phobos Strike Team, Chaos Space Marine Legionaries, and T’au Empire Pathfinders, each featuring their own specialized units and abilities. The Inquisitorial Agents are also being introduced, offering a distinct narrative element to the game. Each of these teams is accompanied by datacards that provide additional faction-specific rules and profiles for operatives.

Chaos Lords and Inquisitor Coteaz

For Chaos Space Marine players, two new Chaos Lords will be available as standalone miniatures. These leaders come with customizable options, allowing players to tailor their characters to fit their preferences. Inquisitor Coteaz will also see a standalone release, equipped with his notable daemon hammer and accompanied by his Psyber-eagle.

Black Library Releases

Black Library is releasing new content with the upcoming launch of Broken Crusade by Steven B Fischer. This story follows the Black Templars as they attempt to survive after being scattered by a warp storm. It will be available in several formats, including a special edition that includes additional content.

Mike Brooks’ Da Big Dakka is also being released, continuing the narrative of Ork Warboss Ufthak Blackhawk as he faces new challenges in Commorragh.

As part of the upcoming releases, Black Library is offering two volumes of Warhammer 40,000 Horror audiobooks. These collections feature stories that explore darker themes within the Warhammer universe, with the audiobooks scheduled for release in time for Halloween.

Dave Wilson, supervising director for Secret Level, spoke emotionally about his return to the Warhammer universe, marking two decades since his work on the Dawn of War trailer. Wilson shared his personal connection to the project, which explores themes of legacy, reflecting his own experiences.

The Warhammer 40,000 episode will be part of the first batch of Secret Level episodes dropping on December 10th, with the remaining episodes set for release on December 17th. Fans of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be pleased to know that Clive Standen is returning to voice Lieutenant Titus in the upcoming animation, which acts as a sequel to the game.

Although a new trailer was shown to attendees at the packed panel, it has yet to be released publicly. Fans can expect to see it soon, along with more glimpses of the Warhammer 40,000 episode.

Secret Level debuts on Prime Video on December 10.

Shortly after the launch, two additional warbands and two Rivals decks will be released, with further expansions scheduled throughout the year. Sixteen existing warbands will also be re-released in four boxes, one for each Grand Alliance, along with updated fighter and warscroll cards.

For players who already own these warbands, a Warbands of Embergard card set will be available, providing updated cards for all 16 warbands. Additionally, digital fighter cards and warscrolls will be made available for download, ensuring compatibility for older warbands in the new edition.

Organized Play events will introduce a more focused pool of warbands and decks to create a balanced competitive environment. Quarterly balance updates will be issued, using data from events and playtesting to maintain game balance.

The Rise of the Dark Mechanicum

The Rise of the Dark Mechanicum expansion explores the internal conflict within the Mechanicum following the events of Horus’ betrayal. This narrative expansion introduces rules for Flashpoint battles, Warfront and Escalation Campaigns, and the Fall of Magma City mission. Players can build armies of Mechanicum or Dark Mechanicum forces, as well as Titans and Questoris Knights. It is available in hardback or eBook editions.

Mechanicum Battle Group

The Mechanicum Battle Group provides 146 miniatures, including units such as Archmagos Prime, Vultarax Stratos-Automata, and Myrmidon Secutor Hosts. This set offers the foundation for a Mechanicum army.

Knight House and Titan Battle Groups

The Knight House Battle Group includes four Cerastus Knight Lancers, six Questoris Knights, and two Acastus Knight Porphyrions, while the Titan Battle Group offers a Warlord Titan, a Reaver Titan, and two Warhound Scout Titans for large-scale battles.

Additional Releases

The Mechanicum Army Cards provide 32 quick reference cards for battlefield management. The Manufactorum Imperialis Sector set includes 104 terrain pieces, allowing players to build factory-themed battlefields.

Combat Patrol: Blood Angels

The Combat Patrol: Blood Angels set includes a Blood Angels Captain, six Sanguinary Guard, 10 Assault Intercessors, upgrade sprues, and a transfer sheet with 540 decals.

These items are available for pre-order, with a two-week pre-order window.

Standing 18 cm tall, the Sanguinius figure features 32 points of articulation, allowing for various poses. The figure includes detailed armor, patterned fur around the collar, and large, articulated wings with a wingspan of 33 cm when extended.

The figure also comes with two weapon options from Warhammer: The Horus Heresy—the Blade Encarmine and the Spear of Telesto—as well as the pistol Infernus. The design reflects an uninjured Sanguinius, suitable for various display scenarios.

A Blood Angels Praetor figure, equipped with a Paragon Blade and decorated in artificer armor, will also be released alongside Sanguinius.
