Weta Workshop Reveals New Warhammer 40k Space Marine Helmet Replicas https://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/weta-workshop-reveals-new-warhammer-40k-space-marine-helmet-replicas/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=weta-workshop-reveals-new-warhammer-40k-space-marine-helmet-replicas Thu, 03 Oct 2024 19:39:33 +0000 https://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/?p=19491 Weta Workshop has partnered with Games Workshop to release a set of replica Space Marine helmets from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. These detailed busts feature helmets from three well-known factions: the Ultramarines, Dark Angels, and World Eaters. However, these replicas are not wearable, standing at just over 5 inches tall, designed primarily for display purposes.

The helmets are currently available for pre-order on Weta Workshop’s website, priced at $99 USD (£75.48). Each helmet is made from polystone, a durable cold-cast resin, and has been hand-painted. The lead sculptor for this project is Victor Gully, known for his previous work on other iconic Weta Workshop creations, including a notable Balrog statue.

Though not suitable for cosplay, these mini helmet replicas offer Warhammer 40k fans a collectible option for home décor. The craftsmanship reflects Weta Workshop’s attention to detail, making them a unique addition to any Warhammer collection.

This collaboration continues the ongoing relationship between Weta Workshop and Games Workshop, which has produced several Warhammer-themed items, including a large statue of the Chaos Space Marine leader Abaddon the Despoiler, as well as a Lieutenant Titus statue from Space Marine 2.
